Thought I'd registered last couple of months...

By the way, why in the subject "Looking for DirectX Tutorials using VC++" in Game Programming forum, are not being updated to reflect if I'd been registered or not. Here's my point about my information that I'd posted:

because the login system is screwed up. You can't login if you're about to post or vote. Only on the index page.

Angry Thank you but I couldn't believe how the login system got screwed up...

I do know I can't post/vote if I'm not log in. However, I would 95% suggest admins to not let guests with the name with the passwords to not post a message into a thread because that really made fun of me...because that made me mad. Maybe I should unsubscribe from the forum and re-subscribe with a different user name. However, if this happens again (to me), then I may have to find a different C++ forum with NO unregistered users posting or voting in a different bulleting board. That's just that simple to me...

C'mon you guys, cut it out!

GP: AFAIK, any unregistered user can put your name in the ID. I think the webmaster expected this problem to be solved with the most recent upgrade of the boards. We'll see. Ands no, you can't edit a post that was posted by an unreg., even if it bears your name in the 'from' field.

We're also having a problem with logging in when posting, and most people long in from the main page. [I'm using cookies on a home PC, so that's not a problem]. There are a few other problems with the boards right now, but it's setting down and everything should be fine soon [and the glass is half full ]
