    Microsoft reveal hidden API's

    journalist view

    Microsoft's official list

Hoax or joke - i'm not entirely sure which. For example, i've never seen PrivateExtractIcons before but on reading it I find:
However, this function is deprecated not intended for general use. It is recommended that you do not use it in new programs because it might be altered or unavailable in subsequent versions of Windows.

Most of it seems like functions already documented, but with some extra info........

Could be real interesting......but then it could be a load of rubbish....need to have a good read and compare what's there to what's in my platform docs.....

That seems to be the shape of things. But I still found the PrivateExtractIcons (for example) quite amusing. I suspect there will be others.

The aug2001 psdk msdn seems to have quite a lot - which is consistent with the idea that they (ms) have been busily updating in anticipation of this event.

Possibly. But I felt "always get a second opinion" lacked subtlety.
