    Windows 2000 Service Pack 3...

Anyone download this yet? On a fresh win2k pro install I ran the 3rd service pack and it has really fouled up my system. I keep getting these Win32s errors and everything says it is not compatible with my version of windows, when I had the sofware running on other win2k machines. Has anyone else ran the update and had problems? I am pretty upset with this.

I was going to, and then I read what it does... and it's only specific to certain things, and none of them applied to me, so I didn't download it.

I download and installed SP3. I got an error saying unknown version on files and that the old ones must be installed to insure stability. It told me to put my disk in and I did and now I have not had any problems.

Did it yesterday on a clean w2k pro and w2k server instalation and it worked without any error messages.

What disk are you referring to? Sounds like my same problems I'm having! Argh!

I installed it on my cousins system when I reformatted for him, and just today I installed SP3 on mine and it's working fine.

I was referring to the Windows 2000 disk. I also found I had to reinstall Microsoft Frontpage 2000 for some reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if all the service pack was is anti pirating stuff that makes it so that you can't burn cd's or download mp3's. My Win2k is going down hill fast. I haven't updated it for about 2 whole months!
