velcro, anyone?
Two Loop System
One Loop System
Or you could get the laceless shoes.
Two loop! I dont even know how to do the one loop one, but I've become a master of the ancient art of two loop tying.
i have a handy-dandy pair of slip ons that i use for work... quite handy...
velcro? isn't that for like old foggies' like rick? and yeah i use the two-loop system because it's symetric! one loops all funky and asymetric!
to think, if i were to use the one-loop all my life i'd be on the other side of my brain and instead of being in a tech programming board like this one i'd be in some fluffy, englishy board... imagine that! ah the mysteries of ones laces...
hasafraggin shizigishin oppashigger...
i use the one loop system... i think that one is much easier...
it saves time and energy in making an extra loop, when you can just take the other lace around it...
I am the Alpha and the Omega!!!
I use the one loop system - it's always worked for me
however!!! two loop has the advantage of precision and flexibility, complete symmetry!

not only that but now theres those gay shoes i see everyone use that are laceless. (2 loop system kicks @#$#!@)Originally posted by dbaryl
For me, all depends on the length of the shoe laces. If long, 2-loop, otherwise, make one longer and use the loop on it, and the shorter one is the loopless .
[edit]
In general though, once you tie your shoes once you don;t need to do it again, just slip on/pull off.

ack, one loop, double loop, who cares?
are they actually going to oberve your shoe laces?
if they do, then they've got some nerves...
anyway, many children are taught the double loop first and then taught the single loop.
they do what they want afterwards.
I was taught the single loop first by my parents and then the double loop in the shoe store.
but most of the times, I'd just slip on my shoes since they won't fall off my feet.
think only with code.
write only with source.
