I know we've had this discussion before, but one thing I've never heard before is the reason people say things like "wut" instead of "what", "ppl" instead of "people", and so on.
Is it really that fscking difficult to hit two extra keys and avoid sounding like a retard (Klinerr, I'm looking in your direction)???
I mean, I don't know the average typing speed in here, but I type ~50-60 words a minute, and I've always considered myself a little on the slow side. Even so, that means the time saved in typing "wut" instead of "what" is all of a fifth of a second or so...
