I'm looking at a PhD from BYU in Math, and they require you to know two of: French, Italian, German, Russian, and Ancient Geek <- typo intended - who else get's a PhD in Math? Anyway - You can't really find books on "The Art of Speaking French to Nerds", so I'm learning regular French, but I'm going to have to know all the specific Mathematical terms. I assume things like differential coefficient might be in a French-English dictionary, but can anyone think of any other things? Are the equational symbol's the same?
