    Best:
Doom 3 (I know it's not out yet)
Quake3 (pretty much all of the quake series)
    Sports Games
    Puzzle Fighter
Dead or Alive series (err...I like the graphics)

    Worst:
1942 (Not a bad game, but I did not play that game for hours to see the "Congratulations" ending)

My favourite game right now is Warcraft III cause it is easy enough to be fun but is still a challenge(damn the night elves)and Half-Life is probably my favourite game(and most mods)because it is fun, long, easy and hard(I like games like that), and creative like in Opposing Forces, yes it is still Black Mesa but they bring back the qualities of the original game(like things/places you would remember)and use them in a cool way, there was only one dissapointing thing about opposing and that is that you only see Freeman once for about 2 seconds and then hes gone but then again that is explained cause you didn't take the same route as he did so thats ok. Tribes is fun but I prefer single player and RPGs because internet games are good, but I like to seige a town like in Warcraft.

One other line of games I would like to mention are the Red Alert series(like Red Alert, After Math, Tiberian Sun games)they were all pretty fun and with the release of Generals I should be busy for quite a while(when it comes out )

I'll agree that Civ3 does have many bright spots over Civ2, but those bright spots don't counter the many bad spots the game has compared to Civ2. The AI are land w***es, and are way too predictable. I don't enjoy being forced to expand at a ridiculously rampant rate at the beginning so I can have a chance of winning the game. Civ3 isn't any harder for me, but the fact that I HAVE TO expand so much early on makes the game boring for me. I like being able to use multiple strategies on different games instead of always having to expand so much. Not to mention the AI never respects your borders. The corruption thing is ridiculous. I don't like how the tech tree was setup, either. The fact that experience (veteran, elite, etc...) only provides with you more HP and not better A/D. Basically the Civ2 combat system is far better. I'm not particularly fond of the interface. Those are just a few of things that make me not enjoy Civ3. Some may feel the same and others may not feel the same.

Yeah I think I had Spy vs Spy on the C64.

I also had dune 2 on the amiga 1200. That was cool. Completed it with 2 of the houses. Though do you remember the big missile weapon that you got towards the end of the game when playing with the red house? It was c**p!! You would aim it and it would miss by miles!!

Yup - you also had to hack the terminals to get peices of a circuit board(?).. god I wasted so much time on that game.

But then I think I wasted more time on the Bards Tale on the Amstrad CPC6128...

    Final Fantasy 7 (yay!)

    Serious Sam 2 (death! RAA!)

*a booming voice is heard* "Who dare mock the timeless FF series, and addictive Diablo II?!!"

*guns blazing, lightatdawn bursts onto the scene*
*When hes finished the heresayers have been vanquished and the virtue of all that is right and good has been restored*

Best old game ever? BomberMan for the Nintendo. You all know its true.
There was some helicopter game for the Commadore that came close but I cant recal its name... Think it might have been called, uh... Helicopter.
