    cobol problem

    how do I make an exe of my cobol program (*.cbl)??

    I have a compiler but i always have to type "runcobol [programname]" to get it started while i just want to start it by typing the programname like other .exe 's

    That looks more like an interpreter than a compiler. The program runcobol interprets your Cobol code.
