I would argue ..after drinking the rest (hehe) that no beer (lager) in the world is as good as Stella is...

BTW-You had better have drunk all the mentioned beers to argue the point!

I know every lager drinker in England has tried Stella-even if they were not keen.....it is impossible to say there is a BETTER lager...hmmm strong and tasty...damn! carried away there!

When I lived in England, I drank the traditional English "Real Ales", after that, all lager is simply a variation on the cold, yellow, fizzy stuff - and yes, Denmark has a tradition for making a lot of that, (Carlsberg, Tuborg etc.).

Don't like Boddingtons - tastes a bit sour. Fullers ESB, Wadworth 6X, Ruddles County, and all the others I can't remember. Thinking about it, it must be 5 years since I ws last in England, I could do with a "pint", (assuming there are still "pints" not half litres), and I've got some free time coming up...

Cans have their uses.
Cans of beer don't smash on the 4 wheel drive track to the beach. Stack better and are easier to carry back (crushed). Less destructive when smashed on your head or stepped on in the sand. Full cans float if you drop it overboard or in an ice / water filled eski (cooler).

Coopers Pale Ale for an Aust ale.
Crown lager for a lager.
RedBack for a wheat beer.
VB, Swan, Emu or Emu Bitter if you want bulk.


How many beers in a pack there?
We get 6, 12, 24 and 30 at the local drive thru bottle shop.

What percant alcohol?
Ours are about 5%.

XXXX Thirsty dog (wheat) is s**t.
Carlton Cold is pretty good.
Im a big fan of guiness. Just about everyone I know hates it. Most beers taste the same to me though Im more of a bourbon drinker.

BTW I haven't tried a lot of beers pls forgive me, for my limited input, Im on a limited income.

As far as americans making crap beer... commercial beer is crap. Some microbrews are pretty tasty and rival those around the world...

Finland has incredible beer. Germany.... do I need to say more...

I don't even classify American 'commercial' beers in the same category of these other beers.... but enough of em will get you tipsy, so what the hell... gimme six.


Oh... and Newcastle brown ale is tremendously good... have you tried it? Not sure of the origin.... it is just good.

Hmmm. Drank a lot of Belgium beers, like Palm, Duvel, De Koninck, but I've never had Stella Artois. I'll try that. Also the German beers are very good, not all, but some of the hundreds(?) beers they have there are very good.

We don't have cans. By law, (at least until the damn EU stuck their noses in), all "carbonated beverages" had to be in bottles. We get cans in August, however, the cans have a deposit charged on them, must be delivered backto the shop where they were bought, (with the receipt), and must not be crushed. Sounds like a real dream of a solution - not!!!

When I was last in Sydney, I visited a pub, I think called the PumpHouse, in a park, (park was full of modern sculptures), where they brewed on the premises, some really quite drinkable stuff.
