    worst time to program

We have had thread after thread about what the best time in the day is to program....and if I recall correctly most people said in the early hours of the morning (midnight to 6 AM or so), but we havent really had any threads about the WORST time to program.

So when are you able to concentrate the least and get no programming done? When is your worst time to program?

Or else when I'm hammered out of my mind and I'm programming while at the same time calling Morocco and reserving hotel rooms.

I cannot get any programming done at night. At night I am always talking to people online, playing games, going out on some nights, and being distracted by several other various things.

The night is the worst time to program for me.

The best time for me is any available spare time...at the moment that means like 10pm-2am

Immediately before the project's due (coincidentally, that's when I do the most work...)

Seriously - I can't get myself to work on projects around noon or so - there's always something more interesting to do.

During prime shopping time is definitely a bad-time for me. Too many distractions.
The middle of the night is of course when all the best work is done.

after midnight, the letters of the code start doing cartwheels across the monitor. it's hard writing correct programs while trying to keep yourself awake, and keeping all the letters on the screen in order at the same time.

I wanted to vote for two times, but couldn't. Damn you, you pup pollmasters!
Unlike some of you who are still trying to grow beards, I have kids, so I have to program after they're in bed, or in school. Way damn too tired to program at 1 am.
In college days though, would probably go for 11 pm - 4 am.
Hard to spend time on the keyboard on nice days with girls out in bikinis (you guys know what girls are, don't you?), maybe a nice brookie rising to the #18 parachute adams you tied earlier in the day?

My worst time is from 12:00:00 am to 11:59:59pm. I always come up with the best ideas that last second of the day.
