I think: Brazil v South Korea.

If the Germans play like they did throughout the world cup, then South Korea surely has a chance to win.

And with the referee's disallowing good goals scored against korea they certainly should win.

Brazil is playing so good now, and have made it to the final, the last 2 years, and will again this year. If Korea make it to the final, I dont think they stand a chance against Brazil, but they have to get by Germany first.

I personally think that the Germans will beat the Koreans because they are very strong in the air.

The Koreans are shorter than any opponent faced so far by the German which gives an added advantage to the Germans. The Germans will also dominate the game physically.

The only thing that is positive for the Koreans is their speed and also the ability to score in the end.

I really hope that it is a Brazil v Germany game in the Finals

Also were the Italian. They have the reputation of being the best defenders in the world, just one word: catanacio.

The Italian, also the Spanish, were physically stronger than the Korean. The Korean are though fighters and they play fast from the beginning to the end. They showed to be mentally very strong.

But well, perhaps the Germans will win. In the Netherlands we say: Je hebt pas van de Duitsers gewonnen als het eindsignaal heeft geklonken. Which is in English something like: you have won from the Germans, if the referee has finished the game.

Well, Well, Well what have we here for all you non-believers... Brazil is in the finals.

It was a great game though and to be fair we should give credit to the Turkish players for playing some real good football , to bad they couldn't score.

Now the final is going to be a great one.

Brazil, the most flamboyant team vs Germany, The most mentally strong team. This should be a classic match. Cant wait for the 30th

Very true, however, they seemed to loose their discipline/composure when they got into the penalty area, and let fly with some really wayward shots. Still, a couple of chances.

Brazil/Germany - sounds great to me.

It sounds great. But I can remember from the last World Cup that the Brasilians didn't play very nice football in the final against France. They play, like the Germans, result-football. It's about the result and that is often not very nice to see. But hopefully the Brasilian and Germans make the final a nice show.

True, the '98 final was a real stinker.

So, Brazil 2 : Germany 0. Reasonabe game, both teams had chances, the Brazilians chances went in.

I wonder how Edmilson(sp?) feels knowning that there were absolutely millions of people all round the planet watching him fight his shirt, then manage to get it on back to front, then receive help to resolve that heavy logistical problem? Even the referee had a good laugh.

I'm sure flying home with the trophy will make that embarassment short lived.

    Argh. Argh. Argh. Argh. Argh.

In reference to what I said above about german football and it's suck/win ratio:

We played great football. For the sake of partying afterwards I would have prefered a bit more sucking and a more 'grottig' style

Damn. I would like to say the better team won, but the better team lost. The bunch of better single players won.

The Germans played better than expected. Usually they play minimal-score football, when they win, they usually win with 1-0. But this final they played unexpected offensive football, it was nice to see. The Brasilians also played nice, not as a team, but individual. At the end Denilson came in, he showed some nice things. Current Brasilian football is also result-oriented, I preferred the nice samba-football, with all those nice tricks. That made the Brasilian great to see playing. Congratulations to the Brasilian.

Next time the World Cup is in Germany? That's nice, than I can see the games in the evening. And it is close to home. Hopefully the Dutch are also present at next World Cup.

I dont know wether to feel happy for Brazil or sad for Kahn.

One mistake in the whole World Cup, just one and they lose it. If you let the first goal in against Brazil then be ready for more.

But still it was an enjoyable and entertaining World Cup. No crowd trouble, riots etc just some horrible decisions by the refree/linesmen

I guess 2006 will be Germany's year. I hope that they win that year.

What else do you expect whne all of them are immensely talented and can score goals.
Denilson... I want to see him play 90 mins, He's the best dribbler i have ever seen.

Everyone seems to blame it on Kahn, but in fact, even if he had kept that ball under control, without scoring a goal of our own, it's impossible to win. And we didn't.
