Maybe, but Italy look very strong, and Brazil did struggle vs. Turkey.

    In football anything can happen.

Those who were the great favourites, France, Argentina and Brasil are playing quite weak. Some others played unexpectedly strong, like Italy and the German. I'm really wondering who's going to win, it seems almost everyone can win.

Struggle they did, but that was the best match I've seen so far, at least equal to the England - Argy game. Rivaldo should've won an Acadamy award for that injury!!

Listen, Brazil has a big chance at the cup this year and I don't think that they are going to give up that easily.......
on the other hand....italie is supported by the whole sports illustrated magazine...that why they are playing good.........not because they are good..........i think that italie has no chance...2 thumbs down...........(not to offencd the italians)

Wasn't that "event" at the end of the Italy/Croatia game weird? (The one in injury time when the ball went in the net apparently untouched by anuone after the hoof forward from the half way line).

I'm suprised that Italy lost that game, Brazil/China - no suprises there.

I didn't get to see the England/Argentina game, there are three Danish channels covering the games, and the one I can't see was carrying it, there are also three Swedish channels carrying the games, but again, I can only see two of them, and for the first time, it was carried by BOTH of the channels I can't see. Grrr.

Todays Brazil-China match was quite good. I think this was the only match so far in which "real" football(ing) skills were shown, mostly by the Brazilians though. Denilson was beautiful.

In all the matches played so far the games have been very physical with less emphasis on skill ie dribbling etc but mostly on tackles and such.

PS I hope the Super Eagles kick some @$$

getting a bit sick of this brazil nonsense now....they are NOT the team they were, and on the performances so far (ie who has put the effort in and played best as a team)----
