Couldn't watch the match but saw the result sometime back on news. Feel sorry for BL, but that was a great goal by Zidane.

I dont know why, but i get a feeling that France will retain the title.

    Champions League Finals

Bayer Leverkusen (Germany) vs. Real Madrid (Spain) 1:2

second and decisive goal by: Zidane

Great match, Bayer fought really well, a shame that they lost.

I agree, Zinedine Zidane was the best. I think France has a great chance to keep the World Cup.

Real is technically better and they have a lot quite experienced guys in their team. For some guys it is the second time they win the Champions League.

It was sad that Ze Roberto couldn't play. I wonder what Bayer will look like next season, Ballack is going to Bayern Munchen and I think more players will leave. They play a very nice style is which is not very German, it would be nice to have this club playing next year also this way.

the first goal by Real was an awfully 'soft' goal, and shouldn't really have been conceeded.

counting the possession of the ball, the 2 teams were approx. even,
counting chances of scoring Bayer actually had far more, but of course you need to take them..

i think the two teams were very evenly matched, separated only by a moment of absolute brilliance by Zidane!!!

when you consider that the Bayern team cost what, about 1/3 of Real, then i think Bayer did exceptionally well.........i am pleased with that since they beat Man United , my team.....

Bayer were severely underated by the 'major' clubs in Europe and very nearly won the Champions League.....

its an awful shame that the team now seems to be breaking up........
