Why does such a powerful country have such inept leaders?

    Examples:
    Nixon
    Bush (the younger)

i've been thinking about comparing c. kenedy's new "profiles in courage" to jfk's. i think it'd be interesting to see how the concept of "courage" has changed in relation to the new political climate. if you do this, let me know how it turns out, i'd be interested. good luck

Well, there is a lot of history to cover there. It depends on what part your teacher decided to cover, but with any luck, you've only spent your time studying WW2 through to the fall of the Berlin Wall.

What were the events leading to the deployment, and removal, of Soviet missiles in Cuba during the early 1960s?
