First up, I know that this is a C/C++ board, but the Java board which I go to isn't that good and they just gimmie dumb answers like "Gee, that's pretty obvious, why don't you DO A SEARCH ON GOOGLE!!!" when I have like 3569891478.63703 times already.
To Java programmers: Do you think this book would be a good one to start database programming in Java? If not, which one would be a good alternative?
I bet GOOGLE could help you out there...

Those books seems kind of expensive, for example I have this book http://www.dymocks.com.au/asp/full_d...sbn=067232072X which I bought for about 40 bucks. I mean I think it's the same except for that thing that says a whole page on C#, because it does talk about C# the one I have I mean, but it's not a really intensive talk about it.

I like the Prentice Hall/Sun books......(Core Java, Core Servlets....)....
