I want to throw this in a different direction: "What is your favorite 'The Simpsons'..." character?

I would have to go with Ralph, he is just so, well... ummm, dumb Was going to make a new thread with a poll, but there are just too many characters for the options... so... who would you choose?

yeah, theres so many funny characters !!
i'd probably have to say the obvious and go for good old Homer himself....

but Ralf, Flanders, Burns, Moe......i'd give major credit to !

tell you who i don't like......Marge.....jeez...but i guess we need her as a foil for Homer.

I have just one more simpsons moment I would like to share. Its from the episode which is a rip-off of 101 dalmations.

All watching TV and all of the dogs are on the floor watching too.
One of the dogs puts its paws on the Tv and stays there for a second
Marge: "Oh look at that. How cute."
The cat does the same thing
Homer: "(Shouting) Hey! Somebody get that cat out of the way!!"

Talking of dogs, youve reminded me of a classic moment

Santa's little helper has had loads and loads of puppies, the house is full of puppies.......
so Marge puts a flea-collar on Lisa and Bart !!
saying something like "sorry sweetie....its easier THIS way "

    i liked that

Yeah, I think nothing beats Bart or Homer... but it seems like every character has it's own funny side (except for Marge, maybe)

it was the 'rockin fun zone' (re: the designated drivers place)

homer needs to wait 5 days to get a handgun
Owner: "you beat up president bush!"
    Homer: "Former president bush"

then he waits in front of his house while all potential targets waltz by

and also the episode where he's mr. X
when buying the computer, he's talking to the computer sales guy
Salesman: "this is the computer astronauts use to do their taxes"
    Homer: "I was an astronaut"
    Salesman: "sure, you were"

    the entire frank grimes episode
Grimy: "in any other country in the world you would have died long ago"
Bart: "he's got you there, dad"

sorry if this is not related to "The Simpsons" but I personally enjoy "The Family Guy", especially the character Stewie.

    more violence,
    more profanity,
    and many more other stuff.
    think only with code.
    write only with source.

The large anti-Marge sentiment here is distrubing, to say the least. She's no Homer, that's for sure, but she's got her moments.

The best character is Ralph - this has been proven many times over by scientists.

    Marge sucks !!!!

Ralph may grow up to be as dumb as Homer someday !!!
i like his dad too !!

i like that "comic-book" guy, the computer geek, star trek fan, 40-year old virgin !!! he's pretty funny...in a pompous, i'd like to smack him in the mouth type way !!

when the French launched a nuke at Springfield.........
he saw it wizz past and says
    "oh..ive wasted my life....."

    Ralph is the funniest, hands-down

    Worst, episode, ever

Marge can be funny at times...

    One of the funniest moments:

//homer gets a crayon removed from his brain, turning him smart

Homer: Hey Flanders, you going to church?
    Flanders: Yep!
Homer: Well hold on a second I think I just found a way to save you some time.
Flanders: Did you find a new shortcut?
Homer: No, I was working on a Flat tax proposal and accidentily proved God doesn't exist.
Flanders: ::looks paper over; gasps:: Well, maybe he made a math error ::looks paper over again:: Nope...it's airtight. Well, can't let this baby get out :: puts lighter to paper::
::Cut to homer in the background putting copies of the paper in peoples' car windows::

Homer, most definitely. Anything he says or does is hilarious.
