I noticed that penny's avatar is ASIA's logo... is this the ASIA that Carl Palmer and Kieth Emerson belonged to?
and would anyone suggest any of their songs for me to DL?

To my knowledge Keith Emerson has never been a part of Asia.

Like the 'Awake' album?
Awake is great! do you have it?
no one knows Dream Theater, it's a rea shame.. they are awesome.
I know some kids who love those guys.
cool.. i went to their concert at the Beacon Theater in NYC last weekend and man was it awesome! i don't think there will ever be a better concert that i'll go to... damn.. it was just so great.
Yup. 'The Mirror' and 'Lie' are excellent jam tracks.. as is 'The Silent Man'.do you have it?
'Images and Words' is my favourite album though. 'Six Degree of Inner Turbulence', the new album is also very good.
If you like Dream Theater it's worth looking into Liquid Tension Experiment too, if you haven't already. It's very similar. John Petrucci and Mike Portnoy team up with Tony Levin (King Crimson) and Jordan Rudess (Dregs, Dream Theater). It's basically DT without James LaBrie on vocals... or anyone for that matter. It's *very* good and well worth looking into.
Acid Rain is the first track to download.
:: suddenly feels quite jealous ::i went to their concert at the Beacon Theater in NYC last weekend
Did Petrucci do his Flight of the Bumblebee solo? That's a worthy download too. That was *amazing* to watch live.
no.. he didn't
they did a four hour set though... wow... it was so amazing.
they performed lots of stuff from the Awake and Falling into Infinity.
The Encore was 45 minutes long and AWESOME... they started with Home, which was so unbelieveable rocking the house... everyone was off the walls excited. it was such a great performance. Then they did "the spirit carries on" and everyone sang along. It was such an uplifting experienc.e. MIke Portnoy stood up on his drum throne and lit his liter in the beginning.. it was hilarious.
...i'll take you this summer to their performance when they return to the Beacon Theater... that's if you can get over into the states..hehe.
