    Tutorial Idea

I had an awesome (at least in my opinion) idea. You know how in ASM, all you need to know is the basic idea, like how instructions are setup, basic PC Architecture, and then you just need a list of instructions, and a quick summary? It's the same thing with HTML tags, and tonnes of other thing!. So here's my idea: A collection of tutorials for advanced programmers, who know what they're doing, but want to broaden their horizons. They'll take you like 5 minutes, and then you just need like a list of the instructions/tags/whatever. What d' ya guys think? Post any suggestions or cruel insults!

I think it is a good idea. We would need to identify "subject matter experts" for different areas, like MFC, Motif, Windows networking, UNIX networking, algorithms, refactoring, unit testing, parallel programming, real-time programming. I could go on and on, but I think that you get the idea.

Good idea, but isn't that what O'Reilly's Nutshell Books and Osborne's Programmer's References do (and the few Coriolis Core Language books)? Or are you thinking on a broad scope?
If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to see it, do the other trees make fun of it?
