Does anyone here know how to

edit resources with DevC++, 'cause I can't do it with MVC++ so I want to start it with DevC++ and then maybe learn it on the other one.

if you do tell me the steps please.........

There's no easy way to do it I'm afraid.
You just have to learn how to make them your self.

Ok well maby there are a few.
ResHack can change the resource scripts after compilation. Not the best way to do it, but you can edit your scrpits there and incorperate it back into your source code:

There's also WeditRes. It was made for the LCC-Win32 compiler so I'm not sure how well it'll work with your resource files, it refused to even consider mine.

People do you think it has something to do with the fact that I am running XP? Because, ok I somewhat know the steps to creating resources if I follow examples right, I create them and they don't work, also when I compile an example from Here it doesn't work either, when I compile an example from that (which supposedly work) on MSVC++ it compiles but it won't build, and if I do it with DevC++ it compiles and it builds but the resources don't work.

The exe file worked for me.
The dialog popped up and both buttons on it generated messages when pressed.
Although the resource file you included was made with MSVC.
