any websites that would have a copyright free map of the world?

any websites that would have a copyright free map of the world?
I am in the proccess of looking but if anyone would happen to have seen one recently or know where I could find one I would greatly appreciate it.

Note: the first person to point me to a non-general source for copyright-free maps of the world (IE: not google) gets a prize.
and unlike that other dude it's not 'knowledge'.

Why do you need one that is copyright free?

I'm sure if you're not selling it, I don't see why they won't let you use one if you ask them.

Try searching some government websites like the USGS or CIA. They will have plenty of public domain maps.
