Yeah, and if I remember correctly, the Dev C++ (ver 4) IDE was done in Delphi. However, if it's an IDE contest then I think MSVC wins hands down and that was written in MFC (at least 6.0 was).
Compilers are really just invisible data stored as voltages in blocks of memory, sucking it would merely give me a small electric shock.Originally posted by ober5861

A guy from Bloodshed came over here a while back to ask if anyone wanted to contribute towards DevC++5.....he said that Delphi was being involved.....did anyone take him up on it?.......I would have loved to do it....but my delphi skills are very basic and pascal syntax seems alien after C/C++Originally posted by Sorensen

I use:
Visual C++ 6 for DirectX, OpenGL, and SDL programs.
Borland C++ 5.02 for DOS and Windows programs.
Borland C++ Builder for Windows programs.
I use Microsoft Visual C++ 6 most of the time, but I started using DJGPP, too.
Wow, what an informative post! I didn't even know there were compilers other than gcc/cc ;)

That´s finally a really informative poll.

someone make me a list of all the compilers there are(or at least the good a popular ones) and I will replace this poll with one with more options.
