If you like steak frytes with your steak its fine. But it was a personal question and my responce is still a nice fat juicy baked potato when eating a steak.(also I like my steaks bleeding with no additives(steak-sauce==yuck))
And as I said I've left alot out.

I only eat hot-dogs or sandwiches at things like pic-nics. Its always much easier to bring along chips than some cold fries. If Nathans' isn't your friend then Im assuming its a restaruant thats pretty enclusive to your geographical location. They is a hot-dog restuarant near my home called skins. I have no idea what they serve with their hotdogs. When I take the time to dine out(paying someone to prepare and serve me food) it's never to eat a hot-dog.

I guess it would be classified as a soup but has anyone here ever tried potato dumplings? I'm thinking its a true southern redneck food for feeding the extremely poor class.
Basicaly boil potatoes untill they are mostely dissolved into the water and add your favorite spices(salt and pepper if your poor) with chuncks of doughy bread. The bread should be added so it will cook throu-out while not boiling the potatoes into 1 part tator one part water. You can throw random mixed veggies in if you'd like but its best if they are so finely cut up they blend into the potatoes.

400 or so locations in the USA and 15 other nations is not very "enclusive." It's also sponsor of one of the most famous competitive eating contests in the world.
I mention them, of course, because aside from great hotdogs, they're home to the best fast food french fries I've ever tasted.

I don't like scalloped potatoes. Everything else is good.
I also prefer mashed potatoes home made, but sometimes you just have to get them elsewhere.

Yes, that receives a whole lot of coverage in New York City. I didn't know Nathan's was such a big chain tho. They are probably responsible for the "Coney Island Hotdog", too, which as far as I can tell is just a hotdog but costs $5.75 at Nathan's in Coney Island and the only seating is picnic tables outside.
They are closing down Playland, the old school amusement park, because the lease is up and the owner wants to build condos on the beach. So much for Coney Island! I hope the Siren music festival can continue there, it's an awesome setting...
