No, it looks like they are finding out who is responsible, don't jump to conclusions, there are enough carrot crunchers around here as it is.

It's not likely that the US is going to get wiped out but it is possible. The US is mobilizing the military right now. Something like 5000 or more Americans were killed. Next week another 5000 will get killed perhaps.

Jesus, the level of stupidity in this thread is unreal.

First, no, the US has NOT attacked anyone. The attacks in Afg. were perpatrated by AIRCRAFT, not cruise missles. While we did have aircraft in range, we would not have used aircraft to take out a single target (an ammo dump no less). The fighting is more of the continuing civil war over there. The US HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. They only said that about 100 times.

Wan Valdez, to be blunt, you are being a complete jackass. First, do you know the definition of Communisim?? Because I do, and no one on this thread has acted anything like a communist. If you are calling Govtcheez a communist because he is (in your eyes only) defending the Middle East, then you are way off base. The countries over there ARE NOT communist. Most are dictatorships. So, if you are going to insult him, do it right, and call him a dictatortorian (umm... or whatever a pro-dictator calls him/herself).

Alot of innocent people died yesterday. It probably won't be 5,000, but it'll be in the thousands. We should all be outraged by that. We should all be disturbed and upset. But we SHOULD NOT jump to conclusions and start wiping out the innocent along with the guilty. Saying that we need to wipe whole nations off the face of the earth is just plain stupid. So what if it was Ben Laddin? SO WHAT? We should go and wipe whatever country he's been living in off the map? We should nuke it and everyone in it? HELL NO. Should we strike that nation's military, its government, those that have helped hide him, and bring them all to their knees? Yes we should. But we should do it in a manner that doesn't throw more lives away. While there are plenty of people in the Middle East cheering at our loss, there were plenty more sitting in their homes disgusted by their countrymen.

Being in the same nation as whoever was responsible for this DOES NOT make everyone in the nation guilty. However, if the nation's government was helping or hiding this person, that nation's government is just as guilty, and we should do what we would do to any country we are at war with: target it's military and government installations and level them. When we go to war with a nation, we *usually* do not target civilian targets. We target military targets. We target government installations. We try to cripple the nation with as little loss of life as possible. The goal is to cripple the government, not wipe out that nations population.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath and calm down. I'm as ticked about this as anyone. I want blood. But I don't want to kil a bunch of innocent people to get it. I just want those responsible for this, whatever their roles in it, to be punished. And they will be. These attacks won't go without retribution. Those responsible for this will get what they deserve in this life and the afterlife. God help anyone who gets caught in the middle.
