    Question Visual Studio .NET

I am thinking about buying it because I found out that I can buy the professional version for $99.98, and I am wondering if anyone knows how good Visual Studio .NET is or what people who have used it think of it.

It's better than it's predecessor in most areas. It is (a bit) more standards compliant and has a better C/C++ optimsing compiler.

However, while it's IDE is nice, it's much more of a memory hog with slows things down a tad.

I am not very worried about the amount of memory it uses because I am pretty sure I will have enough...

Does anyone know any free website services that work well with VS .NET? I have geocities right now, but I am not sure if they are any good with it.

    Free, no ads, supports ASP.NET.

    ASP(.net) sucks anyway.
