I have a real old Win32 CHM help file that I use all the time when I'm off-line, it has helped me quite a bit. But I don't have one for any DX or other MS libraries. Being that the documentation is from 2001 it's help is somewhat limited.
Is there a place where I can download a RECENT copy of the FULL Microsoft developers documentation?

Unfortunately, it's not going to be that easy.
The entire msdn docs borders on about 2 GB worth of help data. There just isn't a .chm file available that contains everything.
I'm currently trying to compress everything using 7z, but so far it seems it won't help much. You'll have to be prepared to download the entire package perhaps.

Results are 1.99 GB (compressed) vs 2.08 GB (uncompressed).
