    recently, i study of the use of rational rose to build the UML.

    looking for an example, include : from the Demand Analysis to the framework code generation; i think it's a better way to understand rose in the modeling of specific processes

    PS:use the c++ is best, i know a little about JAVA: (

    my Email is [email protected]

    If you have Rational Rose, doesn't it have help and tutorials?

    The program design at the level at which Rational Rose works has little to nothing to do with C++. Moving.

    A lot!

    Been ages since I last used it (back when I was doing VB), and UML in general as lost in favor with me as it became too much of a engineering tool that makes no sense at the projects scale I was doing even at the time (in-house management applications). Despite these being medium scale applications, we lacked proper software architects and analysts and by no means we were unable to deliver because of that.

    ...

    What the OP is asking is unattainable. This is no type of environment that allows for an example to be produced in a bulletin board. Certainly not "from the Demand Analysis to the framework code generation"[sic].

    I'm also somewhat curious as to why this is being asked since it's unthinkable for any company to acquire this type of products without acquiring also a Training Program for its employees when they are obviously not ready to tackle with it. On the other hand, if this is a one man endeavor the OP is addressing, then I wonder how any of the Rational Rose products end up being on his hands. Sorry... but I cannot avoid mentioning it.

    I would probably suggest another approach; to get a less ambitious application offering free versions like MagicDraw, and make extensive use of their free Resources offerings, payed Training (if acceptable) and better yet, spend some money on books and use the specialized mailing lists and newsgroups on the subject of application and data modeling in particular and UML in general.

    The web, after all, is just a portion of what the internet has to offer. And on the matter of gaining new skills, is sometimes the least relevant. Newsgroups and mailing lists are still a powerful (the most in my opinion) form of learning in the internet. On the other hand, the day has still to come when one can acquire advanced skills without spending money on books and purchasing training. Application and Data Modelling is one of those areas where information is thin on the internet due to its advanced nature and somewhat limited scope and penetration.
