beer, bourbon or vodka. When it's vodka, it's like 5-6 shots in one cup + lemonade

Admit that you just want to get to know us a little bit better ... I know you do , dont you?

Not like we can get any reliable results from these polls (unless everyone really fills out the correct thing - which I can not imagine happening).

But anyhow, to add some ontopic talk here: I voted like a fish , at least thats what my girlfriend is saying at this time... but I find it very relaxing to drink at least 2 beers after a hard day of studying (which I am right now since im having exams).
Get up at 7 start at 8 in the morning, work till 11 in the evening and cool down and drown my overheated brains with some fresh beer, half hour later go to bed (I fall asleep instantly, without the beers I would probably be lying in bed awake for another 2 hours - thinking about the things I learned that day - before falling to sleep).

When I'm not having any exams I drink maybe twice a week but then ill consume more then 2 beers so on average probably 1.5 beers a day.
We have all heard about the studies that say that people who drink a glas of wine (preferably red wine) each day have less troubles from cardiac disease etc ... anyhow, I read an article a while ago about a study that said that the same applied to beer but that beer was good for different things ...
Note I'm not saying alcohol is a way to live longer (now that would be funny) but if used in moderation it can certainly improve some areas in your body (why do I spontaneously think about augmentations and deus ex :s)

Soooo who's going to open a poll asking "Do you like - 'do you .... ' polls?" ?

    I think I've created a monster...

...anyway, I drink occasionally. Really, only when someone hands me a drink, I'll drink it. Otherwise, I won't get one on my own and I will generally turn one down if I'm actually asked.

Its nto the alchohol, its teh phenols in red wine that are good for yoru heart. You dont get teh same benefit from beer or from grape juice, as the fermentaion process changes the pheonls chemical structure, and there are no significant phenols in beer.

I find it interesting that the rash of polls asking a yes or no question have so many choices unless we're talking about law. By giving "yes" so many choices, because it's so important that we know how regular you drunks are, you've divided a majority. Now to wait for "no" to conquer. At least poll correctly. Geez.

    I drink. Usually it's with a meal.

Rarely, I'm actualy not that fond of alchohol; definitely a blessing, my grandfather was a serious alchoholic.
