    don't contact me, people, i don't know!

we don't know eachother, but what makes it okay? did some social demographer or psychologist account for these communities in their theories and observations? i say it shant be, but it makes you have emotion nonetheless... it does not matter, but it gets to you... why?

I think he's commenting on the oddity of feeling emotions
for people you only know virtually and have never met.
At least I think he is. With DA, you never know. But that's
how I see it and I've often wondered myself about how I
can feel the way I do about people I've never met and will
probably never meet face-to-face. There are many people on
    these boards that I've come to know through correspondence;
some I like and some I don't. But how can one form such an
opinion about people he only thinks he knows? Actually meeting
someone from Cprogamming in person would be kind of a scary thing to me. I think I'd be a nervous wreck.

we don't know eachother, but what makes it okay?
free will/free speech lets two people meet and talk freely. the connection between two people exists even online. watch more cartoons. you'll feel better. even though they aren't real people, they seem real.

i say it shant be, but it makes you have emotion nonetheless... it does not matter, but it gets to you... why?
i think the word 'shant' is an attempt to seem dignified. but it doesn't matter. when people talk there's body language which send signals to other people. lacking that, you can only guess. put yourself in the other person's shoes and try to get the meaning of the words based on your past experiences.
if you have none(past experiences), well.... life sucks.

for instance, i'm reading your post and it has more than the usual big words. the typos("eachother") make me assume you're writing this fast(trying to get your thoughts down fast). your words seem to have emotion because you're questioning our society's moral fiber. i don't see this kind of post often, and Betazep's words make this post seem "usual", so i think you're just posting this cause you're bored.

why does it get to me? because i'm looking for human emotions in a place designed to be anonymous.

...right, ygfperson...you need to lay off of the psych books...

And back to the question at hand...what about penpals? This is practically the same thing, only faster. Plus, I have the goal of meeting at least one of you some day. Rick, Govt, Hillbillie, DA...someone!

I have this same goal too!

I think it'd be cool (at least in theory) for the whole Flashdaddee gang to have a real life meeting. Flying [stealth] over might be a problem, but other than that it could work.

Yeah it could be on account of the fact I'm broke! I don't know, if I ever end up in the US, I would consider meeting some of you guys.
