No newbies can PM other members!

instead of cluttering other threads with out of topic OR general questions, newbie Board Members,
who don't have enough posts to make them able to PM, can post their PMs here!

Good Luck newbies! Just a nice gesture for you from this very helpful Board
    Happy Posting!

Well, if newbies are only allowed to PM other newbies, then it won't affect all the non-noobs It would also be pointless.

Yup, pointless. Which I am am assuming is why they just can't pm at all. Easier to than imlpimenting a nub2nub only pm system, which woudl also let spambots spam nubs and maybe turn them off to the site, so better to just havet eh no nub pming rule imo.

If they post their private messages here, they won't be very private will they?

Perspective this is the General Discussion forum... we're a simple folk... keep your logic in the programming forums, thank you very much.

PM to manav: Perspective doesn't understand your great idea. What a weirdo... don't tell him I said this!

Also, using "Banned" as a custom title is a great way to get yourself banned

Maybe someone wants to send a PM to a new user related to some topic or whatever. So the only way to get a response is including your email address in it...

I don't see why non-newbs would need to PM eachother anyway.

Private messages are for just that reason, to keep them private.

Gentlemen and ladies do not read one another's mail.

What if 2 guys decide to cyber? Do you really want that in public messages?

What if I want to tell a friend of mine about a link like http://www.google.com? Do you really want THAT in public?
WARNING!!! THAT SITE IS EXTREMELY DISGUSTING AND IS USED ONLY FOR EXAMPLE, DO NOT CLICK THAT LINK!

corned bee: that wont stop the curious from chucking it in their url.

abachler: Dude, you're as like the people in my class only a bit more savage. Seriously considering that you are a 40 year old you seem to display yourself as "active but odd".

Yah... I'm quite sure the next mod to look at this will. CornedBee looked for the clever moderate alternative, but it won't stick.

Not to be prude... but we do have an ethical code here.

well ... this idea started, when i asked a newbie, sending a PM, to come for chat, and, (s)he could not even reply because,
    newbies can't PM board members
so i created this thread, so to make them able to post, what would otherwise be off topic.
i also sent this thread's link to the person i invited for chat. and ... oh, not a single reply! duh!
