    Cool new motherboard

A friend just gave me a nice Dell motherboard.

    It is a P2 motherboard.

It can hold 512 MB of RAM, has 1 AGP slot, 4 PCI slots, and 2 ISA slots. I like it. It has a Slot 1 processor though. Anybody know much abotu Slot 1? I have only had experience with Socket processors....

Where can I find a P2 Slot 1 processor for it? Ebay the best place?

try pricewatch.com. i'm not sure if they still carry stuff that old, though. the shipping price should be more than the price of the cpu. (i saw something on ebay, 6 mo ago, 10 90mhz pentiums for around $20.)

Be careful David. Dell are renowned for their motherboards! They normally only support Dell branded memory and that tends to be expensive. It may also need a non-standard form factor case.
Free the weed!! Class B to class C is not good enough!!

Or you can mount it to the side of a standard cardboard box.
